Ecolution Group response to the potential business impact of COVID-19

We want to assure you that the Ecolution Group are mindful of the global COVID-19 pandemic and our main priority is to keep our clients, staff and communities safe. We appreciate your understanding as we navigate these uncertain times.

Please be assured that we are closely monitoring daily developments and taking increased precautions by reinforcing the guidelines put in place by the World Health Organisation, Public Health England and UK Government. With that in mind, as a responsible employer we have introduced the following measures so that we are well placed to continue to deliver the best possible service in these circumstances:

Office

We are operating a skeleton staff policy in our offices in Kent and Norwich to facilitate the logistics of the business.

Remote Working

Where practical and possible, we are allowing staff to work from home on a rota basis and have equipped those positions with the appropriate IT facilities.

Meetings

All non-essential meetings have been cancelled, postponed or rescheduled until such time as the situation improves. Any critical meetings are to be held remotely and we are encouraging both telephone and video conferencing.

Welfare and Hygiene

Every office has handwashing and sanitising products. All our vehicles have been stocked with hand washing and sanitising products, appropriate PPE including face masks and protection suits. We are constantly reminding our staff of their responsibilities in keeping both themselves and the general public safe.

Self-Isolating

We have advised all staff to self-isolate in accordance with government guidelines in the event that they or someone they live with/have been in close contact with, have any of the symptoms as detailed in the government guidance.

External Cases

We are asking anyone who thinks they have been at risk of contracting the virus that has been in direct contact with our staff to inform us immediately, so we can then take the necessary precautions.

Communication

We are sending an internal newsletter to all staff daily with new government updates and any Ecolution policy updates. We are contacting all customers the day before their appointment to ensure customers are symptom-free and it is safe for our engineers to attend to their properties. We are prioritising customers without hot water or heating and moving planned works where possible.

Clients

We will adhere to any instruction given to us by our clients in response to Covid 19 or any site-specific or contract specific plans in relation to Covid 19. We will update our external communications to clients and the general public on a regular basis.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us by phone at 0330 324 7777 or by email at exec@ecolutiongroup.com.
