22 years of Ecolution

This month, 22 years ago, in a moment of madness, myself and my brother Andrew and I came up with the wacky idea to start a renewable energy business.

To start any business is risky, but to start one in the renewable energy sector at the time has to rank as one of the... less sane ideas we’ve had!

However, 22 years later we can look back with pride, not only at the business’ resilience, but also its continued progression to an ever brighter future.

Two brothers going into business with the help of some friends, meant, from the get go, Ecolution was a family business originally named CEL-F Solar Systems; the name representing our children: Cameron, Elliot, Louise and Fraser (as pictured 22 years ago). A proper and traditional family business with family values at its core.

The renewables sector is now the ‘in’ place to be, with massive advancements and greater support from governments around the world. With the sector at the forefront in the battle to save the planet from climate change and evolve into a green industrial revolution.

The industry and Ecolution have come a long way in the last 22 years, I’d like to see first hand the business and the sector making even greater progress in the next 22 years!

And see if we smash those planet-saving 2050 targets!
