About Crown Commercial Services
Crown Commercial Service supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2018/19, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits worth £945m - supporting world-class public services that offer the best value for taxpayers.
A DPS is a public sector sourcing tool for services and goods (Public Contracts Regulations 2015). It is similar to an electronic framework, but new suppliers can join at any time. This is an electronic way of sourcing which means that both suppliers and customers do not need any special IT equipment. It, therefore, eliminates unnecessary activity for the supplier upfront.
The HELGA agreement allows Central Government and all UK Public Sector bodies to cost-effectively procure a range of services to optimise energy demand management and take advantage of income generation opportunities from market-leading suppliers.
