Ecolution Energy Services is looking for time served plumbers with central heating experience to join our team of engineers based in East Sussex and the South East, to work on a new exciting new private retrofit project scheme.

You will be working as part of a team of engineers installing the latest heat pump technology.

Responsibilities & duties

1. Installation of heat pumps, radiators, cylinders, and associated pipework.

2. Previous experience of installing Mitsubishi, Samsung, Daikin, Valiant equipment ideal but not essential.

3. Working mainly in occupied Domestic properties, retrofitting Air source heat pumps to replace existing heating installations.

4. Must have excellent people skills, very customer service focused.

5. Have very high standards of workmanship, quality and always leave the workplace clean & tidy

6. Have experience of fault-finding, servicing & remedial repairs.

7. Working mainly in a two-man team, complying to the latest Health & Safety regulations, manufacturers guidelines & MCS requirements.

8. Experience in surveying, estimating and heat calculations would be ideal but not essential.

9. Experience of working on unvented cylinders, solar hot water installations, Heating interface units and all general plumbing would be ideal.

10. Competent to work on heating controls, and associated electrical ideal but not essential

11. Able to pressure test and complete a leak-free installation.

12. Experience in testing and commissioning installations to manufacturers guidelines.

The following qualifications & skills are required

1. City & Guilds qualifications to level

2. Gas Safe trained and approved

3. Unvented cylinder approved

4. Experience of working on a variety of ASHPs

5. Self-motivated, hardworking, positive attitude, reliable, trustworthy & willing to grow with the company

6. Clean driving licence

7. Own hand tools, cordless drills etc

8. Excellent customer focused skills

9. Experience of working on HIUs, Solar hot water installations and any other renewable technology would be beneficial but not essential

10. 10 Experience of working in occupied properties, stripping out old systems and installing new pipework, radiators etc

11. An understanding of Covid 19 safety requirements.
